Our Doctors

Dr. David Butler completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa before receiving his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Butler joined Eyecare Professionals in 1987 specializing in contact lenses and low vision. Dr. Butler and his wife, Monica, have two daughters: Noelle and Amanda. Dr. Butler is board certified to diagnose eye disease and is licensed to prescribe eye medication. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the past president of the Palm Beach County Optometric Society. He performs preliminary and postoperative care for cataract, glaucoma, and refractive laser surgery patients.

Dr. Neil Erickson attended Northwestern University in Chicago where he concentrated in biology and played football for the Wildcats. He received his Doctorate in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He practices full scope eyecare specializing in contact lenses and low vision. Dr. Erickson has four grown children - Scott, Todd, Craig, and Pam. ' He and his wife, Barbara, enjoy tennis and fishing.   

Dr. Sandy Costello joined Dr. Erickson in 1972. He spent his childhood in Beckly, West Virginia and received his Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Costello and his wife, Connie, have one daughter - Kim. They enjoy tennis and traveling.  

Dr. Costello is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Palm Beach County Optometric Association. He is Board Certified to perscribe eye medication. Dr. Costello performs primary eyecare, glaucoma treatment, pre and post operative care for cataract and refractive laser surgery. He specializes in fitting of contact lenses, especially for Keratoconus and is certified for the fitting of CRT lenses for myopic (nearsighted) reduction. Dr. Costello also speaks Spanish.

Dr. Todd Erickson received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. He also holds a Bachelors of Science and Visual Science from Illinois College of Optometry and a Bachelors in Psychology from Florida State University.   Dr. Todd enjoys sport fishing, surfing, water skiing, and golf. He has three daughters: Cayley, Nicole, and Shannon. His wife, Deon, is also an optometrist. He is board certified and licensed to prescribe eye medications. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Palm Beach County Optometric Society. He performs preliminary and postoperative care for cataract and refractive laser surgery, and keratoconus contact lens fitting.
