Dr. Andrew Valenti completed his undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science at the University of Florida in Gainesville before receiving his Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. After spending his childhood in New Hampshire, Dr. Valenti now resides in sunny South Florida with his wife, Kim, and their two boys Alex and Anthony. Besides spending quality time with his family, Dr. Valenti enjoys playing golf and tennis and loves to cook. Dr. Valenti is board certified and licensed to prescribe both oral and topical eye medications. Dr. Valenti has experience managing and treating ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and cataracts. He also performs standard and specialty contact lens evaluations and truly enjoys caring for patients of all ages. Dr. Valenti believes optometrists are an integral part of the healthcare community, and he advocates a wholistic approach to eye care that helps his patients maintain excellent overall health, as well as optimal vision and ocular wellness.
